including minutes of Council Meetings. In the second, issues surrounding the
general community including such things as what's on and a photographic tour
of the parish. |
Currently the council is preparing a Parish Plan. We are looking for input
from everyone who has an interest in the parish to give us their views on how we
can improve things. Please follow the link to add to our survey.
Aldbrough Survey |
Aldbrough is a parish of great rural charm. - from the dynamic cliffs in the
east to the peaceful tranquillity of the lanes and footpaths to the west. The
village is steeped in history with many unaltered buildings and has a lively
community spirit. Being only 11 miles from the city centre of Hull and between
the holiday resorts of Withernsea and Hornsea, it is fortunate to have easy
access to some great
recreational and cultural amenities. The 2,213 hectare parish has a primary
school, 3 pubs, a hotel and guest house, a village hall & sports centre, a
youth club, 3 shops & post office and about 4Km of rapidly eroding
coastline! |
